The appliance is completely connected to a 230V supply and not to 8V. A certified 230V push-button must be used as bell push-button.

All Heidemann export chimes are equipped with a bell transformer, which means the appliance is actually connected with 230V to the bell transformer, but within the chime the operating voltage is converted to 8V. Therefore there is no risk of injury due to electric shock.
